Out of all the rides at the Disneyland Resort, which one did our family like best? That's a tough one. When we finally get the time to sit down together for longer than 20 minutes, The Pea wants to get out a list of all the rides we did, have everyone rate them and tally up the totals (she's definitely the child of 2 engineers). Until then, I can definitely tell you which ones didn't make the cut:
Anything that went round in a circle rates an immediate zero for me. These swings at Disney's California Adventure really left me queasy.
See the looks of abject terror on the kids' faces as we plunge down Splash Mountain? 'Nuff said.
Jammy actually got over Splash Mountain really quick (he's actually convinced himself that he loves it), but after his 2 minutes of screaming and wailing and hurtling around in the darkness on Space Mountain, he refused to even consider going on the Matterhorn (note to self: He's freaking four years old. Just because he says he likes roller coasters is no reason to let him ride Space Mountain).
So which rides could end up being voted Our Favorite One?
3Po declared without a doubt that the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride in Frontierland was the best he had ever been on. Of course, at that point it was the only ride he had ever been on -- that was the first one we did.
Most of the rides in Fantasyland were a big hit with the kids. And even though the spinning teacups, well, spin, I had fun. Mainly because Jammy was content to spin our teacup at a ladylike pace, while the other three whizzed by in a separate teacup, practically spinning themselves out of the park.
Pirates of the Caribbean was a strong contender (that was Alfie's favorite, and mine as well, but The Pea said she's taking points off for that small waterfall drop -- anything that reminds her of Splash Mountain is a bad thing), but in the end I think the big winner is going to be Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters. We rode it four times!

I'm a wimp and rides scare me. Ha!
I played too :)
Amusement park rides are definite favorites. I love the teacup style ride myself. It looks like the family had a fun day.
Stop by and see my entry if you have time.
