What's blooming in spring fashion

Spring is just around the corner, and while a young man's fancy may lightly turn to thoughts of love, a young woman's fancy is more likely to turn to thoughts of.... fashion. Spring has always been my favorite season, and not just because of the longer days and green hills. I love being able to shed my bulky coats and show off my bare legs. I love that you can wear sandals and sundresses along with boots and sweaters.

Here are 3 of my favorite spring trends from 3 of my favorite clothing brands:

Fancy florals

When I think of spring fashion, I think of Easter brunches and Mother's Day teas. I love pretty, feminine, floral dresses -- but I don't want to look like a curtain! These outfits from Shabby Apple have just the right amount of lace and trimmings, without going over the top.

Bold patterns

The silk overcoat from H&M's new Marni at H&M collection is adorable! I love the thought of high fashion and low prices, but I guess so does everyone else. The collection sold out just hours after H&M stores opened on March 8th, so I doubt if I'll be able to pick anything up next week.

White denim

I've finally worked up the guts to wear white bottoms, so I'm so glad that white denim is here for spring. I'm eyeing Lucky Jeans' White Denim Collection because I love the soft fabric and flattering fit. Their capri style will be fabulous for the spring and summer. I can just see myself walking on the beaches of France in white capris!

  1. I'm not really a bold pattern girl but maybe I'll find something that I'll like. White pants brings back memories of high school! LOL
